Nursery News

Ten church volunteers assist the staff on designated Sundays once a month.  With their help we provide a safe and loving atmosphere for our children, allowing their parents the opportunity to worship without anxiety.  A beeper system is also used should any emergency arise.  Childcare is available at the 8:30 a.m. worship service, our Sunday School hour, and the 10:45 a.m. worship service.  (9:00 a.m. Sunday School and worship at 10:00 a.m. during the summer months of Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend).

In our Infant Class we have 8 infants on roll, and are expecting 2 new babies in the next few months.  Our infant caregiver is  Mrs. Sai Dong. 

Our Toddler Room has 12 childre on roll.  This is our most active room with music, playtime, and snacks.  Rebecca Allen, Aimee Box, and Olivia Lantz  (our teen angels) assist our volunteers with these children.

Our Preschoolers are taught by Ms. Edna Rush during the Sunday School hour.  The chilren enjoy Bible lessons.  During the 10:45 a.m. worship hour the preschoolers stay  with Ms. Sai Dong for playtime and a light snack.  Seventeen children are in our Preschoolers Class. 

All total we are blessed with 37 children in the nursery area and average 20 to 25 children in attendance each Sunday.
